We are expanding
Riverside Concrete Cutting has grown steadily since 2020, and the work has outrun the crew. We are looking for experienced concrete cutting operators to join us, locally out of Bendigo and on the travel crew.
You do not have to live in Bendigo. Plenty of the work moves around central Victoria, southern New South Wales and into South Australia, so where you start the week from matters less than whether you can be trusted with a saw and a set out.
What you will not get here is one machine and the same job every day. Everything is done in house, so an operator on our crew runs saws, core rigs, grinders, the scanner and the demolition robot, on sites that change every week.

What the job actually looks like
Rather than a list of benefits nobody can check, here is what a week on the crew involves.
Every machine, not one
Hand saws, ring saws, floor saws, wall saws, wire saws, core rigs, grinders, the scanner and the demolition robot. Nothing is subcontracted out, so you run the lot rather than one machine all week.
Real variety of site
Residential one day, a factory floor or a bridge the next. Civil, commercial and domestic work all come through, and no two weeks look the same.
Gear that is looked after
Husqvarna, Hilti and Stihl throughout, including a DXR 145 demolition robot, a Hilti PS-1000 scanner, a Soff-Cut early entry saw and our own excavator and tipper.
Nights and weekends, by choice
We run 24 hours a day so trading customers do not lose a day. That means after hours work is part of the job, and it is planned rather than sprung on you.
Travel if you want it
The crew works across central Victoria, southern New South Wales and into South Australia, and the polished concrete side has gone as far as Queensland and New Zealand.
A crew, not a labour hire pool
RCC is a small outfit. You will know everyone, you will talk to the bloke who owns it, and what you do on site actually matters to the business.

How to apply
There is no portal and no application number. Ring Darren, or email your resume with where you are based and what you have operated. He reads them himself.
If you are already in the trade and you would rather have a conversation before sending anything, ring. That is usually the faster way to find out whether it is worth either of us going further.
Attach your resume to the email. It goes straight to info@rivcut.com.au.
Asked often
Do I have to live in Bendigo?
No. Bendigo is the base and there is plenty of work around it, but the travel crew can be based anywhere sensible. If you are the right operator we will work out where you start from.
What experience do you want?
Experienced concrete cutting operators. If you have run saws and core rigs on commercial or civil sites and you can be trusted to set out and cut without being watched, we want to hear from you.
Will you take someone with no concrete cutting experience?
The advertised roles are for experienced operators. That said, it is a small crew and the right attitude with a related trade background is worth a phone call. Ring and have the conversation.
How much travel is involved?
It depends on the role. Local work around Bendigo and the six towns is the bulk of it, and there is separate travel work across Victoria, southern New South Wales and interstate for anyone who wants it.
How do I apply?
Ring Darren on 0427 158 583, or email your resume to info@rivcut.com.au with where you are based and what you have operated. That is the whole process to start with.
What tickets and licences do I need?
A driver licence and a construction induction card at minimum. Which other tickets are required depends on the role, so raise it on the phone and we will tell you straight.
