St Arnaud Pool – Refurbishment Works

First stop was St Arnaud Pool, currently undergoing major refurbishment works.

We were tasked with Wallsawing an existing concrete hob flush, but the existing tiled surfaces and size of the hob meant conventional Wallsaw fixing methods weren’t an option.

To overcome this, we designed and fabricated a custom sliding frame that allowed our Wallsaw to travel securely along the hob without fixing through or damaging the existing tiles.

The setup worked exactly as planned, allowing our team to complete an impressive 104 metres of concrete cutting in just 7 hours — despite working through the rain.

Hopetoun Pool – Remediation Works

From St Arnaud, it was on to Hopetoun for another pool remediation project alongside Jarryd Ezard Construction.

Having the right equipment and experience on site allowed us to complete the required works safely, accurately and efficiently.

Both projects are a great example of RCC's ability to adapt to challenging site conditions and develop practical solutions when conventional concrete cutting methods aren't suitable.
